Steps to Set up Hotmail Account on Android using the Hotmail Server Settings
NOTE: If you have a work account that requires the Intune Company Portal app, make sure to install it from Google Play store and then follow the steps to set up Hotmail on Android. You may or may not be prompted to enroll your Android device in Intune by your IT admin.
When settings up Outlook for Android for the first time
- To begin with, you will first need to install the Outlook for Android app from the Google Play Store.

NOTE: The following instructions are to be followed if you don’t have an email account with Exchange ActiveSync. When you configure your email account with IMAP or POP, you can only sync your email but not the calendar or contacts.
