Note: Google helps you recover your deleted emails by keeping them stored in the Trash folder for a period of 30 days when you delete an email. After that time, emails in the Trash folder will be automatically removed from your account forever.

ON COMPUTER

1.) To recover an email from the Trash folder in your Gmail account, start by logging into your Gmail account.

2.) In your Gmail account, click on the Trash option located on the left-hand side panel. You will be directed to the Trash folder.

3.) Under the Trash folder, either click on the email to open it or select the checkbox next to the deleted email you wish to recover.

4.) Next, you will need to click on the “Move to” button located next to the Report Spam button. A drop-down menu will appear.

5.) From the drop-down menu that appears on your screen, select the folder where you wish to recover the selected email. Your email will be recovered from the Trash folder.

ON ANDROID

1.) On your Android phone or tablet, launch the Gmail app.

2.) Tap on the Menu icon (three horizontal lines) located in the top-left corner of your screen.

3.) Next, tap on the Trash option and then select the letter or photo next to the email you wish to recover.

4.) Then, tap on the More option (three horizontal dots) located on the top-right corner.

5.) After that, simply select the option Move to option and select the folder in which you wish to recover the email, for example, your Inbox.

ON iPhone & IPAD

1.) On your iPhone or iPad, launch the Gmail app.

2.) Next, tap on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) and select the Trash option.

3.) Then, select the email(s) you wish to recover by tapping on the circular sender’s image or letter next to each email.

4.) After that, tap on the More icon (three horizontal dots) and select Move to option.
